I’ve thus been scouring the various GW2 fansites for the last week, trying to match up armour types, professions, and races. Hard Mode drops a specific tier of gear. Hard Mode flashpoints drop Tionese, Eternity Vault drops Columni, Karagga's Palace drops Rakata, and Explosive Conflict drops Black Hole. Draenei have a fairly extant commitment to being Lightsworn children of the Naaru, as well as being universe-wide diaspora. It struck me the other day, that the idea of not getting her to the new level cap just feels…wrong. That run, we were going to kill Lich King 25 on Heroic mode.

I really liked the amount of customization that they allow in the creation process. I’m also a Guild Leader though, so I still would love the Idea of guild housing. Scanning the home system afresh this time finds a second new signature, this one resolving to be another wormhole. In this case, it was a weekend of playing nothing but RIFT. Least time spent in group while leveling: SWTOR and STO - as far as I can recall, none of my capped characters in either game has ever joined a group for any reason. For instance, SWTOR has over 200,000 lines of spoken dialogue, as verified by Guinness World Records.

Growing up in the late 90′s, like a lot of kids, I fell in love with the Final Fantasy series through the brilliantly marketed Final Fantasy VII. We could consider GW2 and Pandaria's approaches as an attempt to fight the jerkish community, but I actually see them as a way of rose-tinting the community. One realm and one economy would make me curl up into the fetal position on my floor, muttering about competition for my flowers. Orcs, trolls, undead, cattle, space squid goats with gazelle legs - are you kidding me? A major structure of the foot; a critical design flaw, and cause for recall, of the Achilles model of Greek hero; and the primary reason why action combat doesn’t work in MMOs.

    • Of course it was the idea from the get go to keep my fellow bloggers busy. Did you spot a quote from your blog already?

  2. Brilliance! I’ve spotted quotes from quite a few blogs I follow 🙂

You should make a quest text generator, but then there’d be a few more writers out of a job. So actually just hold off on that one.

    • Yes, all the quotes are fresh from today’s RSS feed. About sentences per blog on average. I didn’t get around to pick from all, but will expand tomorrow. Should I get complaints about repetition, I’ll create a fresh batch sometime down the road.

  3. “That feeling will pass, but then I’ll say in all honesty that I don’t know what other MMO I’d likely play any time soon, after GW2….what is there, anyway? ”

    Oy! That’s MY line!!
lol this is incredibly funny stuff….and oddly addictive 😀
it would however worry me if someone actually got away with a post like this sometime (who knows lol)!

    • I actually had some mixed emotions about creating a tool like this, since it can be abused in that way. But if somebody is able to setup a scraping website, they are able to create such a simple thing as the generator, too.

For some more entertainment, there are a Samuel L. Jackson ipsum generator and a bacon ipsum generator which you might find useful.

  4. That’s a really cool generator. Made me a whole page….adding to my blog =)
